The codex consists of ii + 94 + iii (drawings on rice paper) leaves. It is written throughout by a single hand. Folios ir-iiv, 35r-v, 37v-54v, 57-93v, and 94v have been left blank.
It has been described by P. G. Nikolopoulos, Προσκτήσεις EBE, 1971-1982 Α΄ (volume available in the Department of Manuscripts of the NLG).
The texts preserved in the codex have been copied from the manuscripts 2326, 2251, 2329 of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, by a late-19th century Greek student in Paris.
In f. 94r the copyist lists the personal loans he had received in order to cover the expenses of his journey and residence in Paris. There he discloses both the exact date of his departure from Greece and the date of his return: Ἀναχωρήσας ἐξ Ἑλλάδος τῇ 8 Μαΐου 1842, καὶ ἐπανελθὼν (εἰς) τὰ τέλη Αὐγούστου τοῦ 1846 …
